The grace of Freedom
I think I like WordPress better after all. I definitely like changing things up. Hello old blog.
I was listening to a song today from Phil Wickham’s new album, Heaven and Earth… Heaven Song is wonderful. I listened to it over and over, sitting outside the on some grass. It was clear today; I could see the snow swirling around the peak.
“I want to run on greener pastures, I want to dance on higher hills, I want to drink from sweeter water in the misty morning chill.”
Oh and I’m overtaken by Joy.
As far back as I remember I have had this dream, I’ve found myself riding in the car on many trips, and gazing out the window, listening to Susan Ashton and Rich Mullins, and sometimes one of those songs would come on while driving past some open field… and I would daydream about pulling over, jumping out of the car and running to the horizon. Just to run and run and give vent to the freedom that was pounding against the walls of my body.
There are dancers at my church. There are a few who dance on the stage during the music and I love to watch them. They exude so much freedom and grace.
Your actions cause a reaction within the people around you. Life releases a sound. Belief releases a sound.
There’s so much freedom in Joy, and freedom is utterly graceful.
